Give Good Gifts

Out of gratitude for God’s great gifts to us, honor Him
by giving gifts with eternal value this holiday season.

Christmas is coming, and our thoughts are on gifts - gifts for family, friends, and to those in need. As you make your gift list, we encourage you to reflect on the gifts that God has given you, especially His greatest gift - His only son, Jesus, wrapped in flesh, born into humanity to sacrifice himself and save us from sin’s curse.

Out of gratitude for God’s great gifts to us, please honor Him by giving good gifts.  At PCC, we have some simple ways you can give this year.

You can give Sundays in the offering with a designation for one of the gifts below or give online and designate which gift you want to give.

Thank you for honoring God with your Christmas giving.

Give Grace to Prisoners

Through The Way Out Prison Ministry, you can give gift bags - filled with simple things - to people in our local jails. The gift demonstrates that neither God nor his people have forgotten them and He has a better plan for their lives.
Please take note of the specific instructions as only certain items are allowed in the prisons.

Give Food to the Hungry

Each year, we work with The Center of Hope to give groceries and holiday meals to families in need. Boxes are packed and given to local families who can’t adequately provide enough for the table. You can give food and cash donations to help local families receive a practical gift that demonstrates God’s people care and want to share what they have. Most important, as you donate, pray for these families in our area, that they would see the gift as God’s provision and listen to His message of hope.   DETAILS HERE

give christmas gifts in mexico

Onnemi International Ministries works in a very poor neighborhood in Juarez, Mexico (right on the El Paso, Texas border). They have a special Christmas service to share the real Christmas message and a meal afterward to demonstrate God’s love. Each year, they work hard to give small gifts to the people in the neighborhood where they minister. For most of them, it is the only Christmas gift they receive. The gifts given generally cost under $10 and any amount you give will be appreciated. Please designate “Onnemi Christmas” on your gift and place in the offering on Sunday or send your donation online.

send gifts to nicaragua

Give gifts that a missions team will take with them to use and give away in Nicaragua this January. You can supply things like Tylenol, shoes for disabled people, small gifts & toys for children, and supplies for the team to work with kids while their families receive clinic care. See the complete list on the Nica card and bring your gifts by December 23. Messiah Project Nicaragua will continue to reach out to these people, sharing the gospel after your gift is given.

give a gift in someone's name

Please, please, don’t give anyone an ugly sweater or a coin sorter this year. Instead of giving your friends and relatives things they really don’t need, consider giving a gift in their honor. We’ve made gift cards for you to use, describing your gift to the recipient. Pick one up to use for each gift you make and include a personal note to your friend or relative. It’s also a great idea for exchanging business gifts - better than a poinsettia or mixed nuts and no wrapping needed.

If you want to make your gift giving even easier, give a gift through India Gospel League and they’ll send a gift card for you! Pick up one of their catalogs to give by phone/mail or view their partnership guide online and select gifts. Support a barefoot pastor in Uncle George’s name and give a goat or chickens in your grandma’s name. You’ll honor your grandma, give a gift that has an eternal impact for Christ, she’ll be proud of you, and you still won’t have to wrap it.
