Women's Ministry

At portage community Chapel we believe in challenging women to grow spiritually through multiple outlets of study, support, fellowship, and relationship. Woman have an important role in all ministries in the church, including church leadership (the deacon board), ABF leadership, music and drama, children’s ministry, administration, media ministry, missions, youth ministry, hospitality, prayer, and decorating. While women serve in so many areas, they also need an outlet for their own spiritual growth and are encouraged to join into the Women’s Ministries, a vital branch of PCC that caters specifically to the growth and needs of our women. Throughout the year there are several groups that meet at different times with varied emphasis and leadership. Marilyn Raux is in charge of the Women’s ministries, however, each individual group has its own leaders and leadership structure.
