Missions Opportunities

Portage Community Chapel practices a two-fold approach to missionary opportunities. We have missionaries that work on the foreign missions field as well as state-side missions. As a part of our desire to educate the congregation and also give them opportunities to experience work on the missions field we take regular trips to Mexico and Alaska. Recently, we’ve also been working with a fledgling church in West Virginia to finish remodeling their new church building. Over the past two years Pastor Barry and Tim Miller have taken trips to India as well, with the goal of eventually bringing church members there as well. Opportunities for trips to Africana and Japan are also on the horizon as well.
